I've been enjoying being back in NZ. Where as I got in trouble w/ the law busking in banker-capital London, at home, I am often praised by the public for 'colouring' their day. Two people recently pop into mind. A security guard at a mall thanked me for the 'pleasant music. Music makes the world go around, merry christmas'. That has brought my faith back for the many robots-in-uniform I encountered in London (Police, Council, Security against busking).      Also a girl was listening to me singing in the street, and she started to cry. A bystander (male) asked her if she was ok, she just said it was because of a 'love song' I was singing. I don't know the full story, but I can only imagine what was going on in her world. So I followed up with an upbeat song with silly lyrics, and she started laughing and dancing. This made my day that I made her day for that one moment. I realize there are a lot of people in my community in need over christmas. So

You know what, I tend to whine about corrupt politicians & bankers who ruin the world for everyone else. But I should also highlight the positive that there are some GOOD people in power that actually care about humanity. The UN is for example against the whole American NSA spygrid - kudos to UN - Hon. Helen Clarke (NZ) really chose well to progress with the UN. Then there is the NZ Government. After travelling around Europe I can honestly believe and relatively compare, that we ARE one of the least corrupt governments. I'm a huge fan of the MMP system which I believe carries a fair voice to our diverse parties. I also love how supportive our government is in terms of Music and Arts. Music and Arts make the world go round in my opinion. And I am super stoked to receive a healthy radioplay + live performance return this xmas from APRA. I have to thank APRA every time!

While busking, old man comes up to me & gives me $5 then starts talking about Jesus. Old Man: "Would you like a pamphlet?" Me: "Oh no thank you sir" Old Man: "I'll give you more money" Me: "Well okay". Easy $15.
